There's just something about spring - the sunlight hitting your face for the first time (especially here in the Pacific Northwest), the flowers popping up out of the soil - it gives you a glow. Lean into that spring feeling with these 5 tips.

1. Enjoy spring produce - Asparagus, arugula, radishes, strawberries! Spring produce is filled with antioxidants, phytonutrients and more! Plus, it gives you that flavor of spring. Try roasted asparagus with a poached egg or a simple radish salad with vinaigrette.

2. Put that spring in your step - Get outside and enjoy that vitamin D you get from spring sunshine. Notice the color changes in the local flora and fauna and appreciate the spring ducklings and baby rabbits that abound.

3. Go foraging - Spring is a great time to forage everything from dandelion greens to nettles and chickweed. Not only are these plants prized for their medicinal qualities, they're tasty too.

4. Start a garden - Now is the time to start planting whether you have a raised bed or just a window box. Pick some of your favorite fruits and veggies and enjoy it the freshest way you can - by growing it yourself.

5. Visit your local farmer's market - Spring is when farmer's markets get exciting again. Get spring produce and a bouquet of locally grown spring flowers to truly take advantage of the season.
